New Orleans clarinetist and vocalist Doreen Ketchens shares the stage with Loudoun Symphonic Winds, performing traditional and hot jazz classics. Known as “Lady Louie,” “Queen Clarinet”, and “Miss Satchmo,” Ketchens has performed for four U.S. presidents - Bill Clinton, George H. W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter. Her commitment and passion for the music marks her as a cultural ambassador of New Orleans traditional music.
